More about Nancy:"I was married for 36 years to Richard Ames who passed away in 2002. I I married Fred Slabine in 2009, after a two-year courtship. We live happily in Westborough most of the year, and we spend our winters in Florida to escape the cold and snow. We enjoy boating, dancing, and playing with our little Sheltie, named Precious.

a daughter Jessica and son Jeremy both in their 30s. Jeremy and his wife Sara have three children, two girls aged 7 and 5, and a 20-month son. Gretchen, Nina and Julian are all sweet and adorable. Happily, they live nearby and I love being their grandma Nan.
In late 2007 I retired as VP of Education Development Center, a large educational non-profit devoted to research and development. Since then, I've been doing independent consulting with educational organizations and other nonprofits on a part-time basis. I also work with Fred on his DJ ventures. We try to balance work and play, and overall life is good.".
